An expanded visitor center at one of New England's major granite quarries created an opportunity to add a new wing of outdoor exhibits that tell the park's history.

Walkway pavers leading to the main entrance showcase samples of the quarry's stone, once shipped to cities around the world.

Six-foot high obelisks show images of the quarry's stone in use at important U.S. monuments and structures, including the massive eagles leading to the Holland Tunnel in New York City.
