Creating a "New Penn Station" in New York City means moving Amtrak's operations across 8th Avenue into the historic central post office designed by the train station's original architects, McKim Mead and White.

The Collaborative design staff explored what the move might mean for pedestrians, including ways to connect the new station with the remaining transportation hub underneath Madison Square Garden.
