Protecting and enhancing the natural environment has long been a goal of the Collaborative. For example, before starting the firm, co-owner Ed Shoucair created the Massachusetts Riverways and Adopt-A-Stream Programs for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Decades later, these programs provide municipalities and watershed associations with technical guidance, financial assistance, and public support that help preserve countless acres of river corridor land across Massachusetts.
