The site of a colonial uprising, Liberty Square in Boston, MA, was chosen as the location to honor the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. Staff at the Collaborative, while with a previous firm affiliation, designed this urban pocket park to showcase artist Gyuri Hollosy’s 18-foot sculpture.

This small part of the city fabric has become a favored lunch spot on warmer afternoons and provides a year-round landmark for pedestrians.
