Funded in the mid 1980's, the Lawrence Gateway Project connects this former mill town to Boston's regional transportation network.

The facility includes a direct link to the MBTA commuter rail, regional bus terminal and parking for 800 vehicles.

Collaborative staff's landscape and urban design work includes the creation of a new plaza, sidewalks, outdoor furniture, sign system and lighting.
