To support NASA's efforts to create new ways to reach out and interest young people in science, the Collaborative developed the concept of 3DXtreme.
3DXtreme is a co-marketing proposal to package 3D glasses and 3D space photos into a variety of consumer products. The outreach approach takes advantage of the popular and exciting 3D format and NASA's vast collection of high quality 3D images.
Consumers could obtain additional 3D imagery via download from the 3DXtreme website.
