Job Description

This is the Junior Level Class position in the Land Development Inspector Series classification. Employees in this class perform entry-level land development inspection technical requirements necessary to ensure site and construction project compliance with applicable City, state and federal environmental codes and regulations as required, as well as conformance with project conditions established by permitting, code and other requirements. Employee can perform the routine requirements of the position and demonstrates the necessary problem-solving skills to address most circumstances that may arise in the daily performance of monitoring and enforcing land development codes designed to protect the health, safety and welfare of the community.
